Has anyone got any suggestions for good reading material for sewing with knits - both machine and serger?
I note that Kate recommends the Stretch and Sew Guide to Sewing on Knits, but I also see from Amazon that the book is not easily available.
I did spot Sewing with Knits by Connie Long as being available - I know some of you have recommended Connie's classes - but is this book OK? It seemed to cover what I want from the blurb.
I've not really sewn with knits at all apart from a couple of fleece tops on my old sewing machine, but I am conversant with what the basics should be from reading this group ;)
I'm aiming to make T-shirts, skirts, fleece tops to wear with pride in public. I'm not sure I want to tackle outdoor gear, but that might come in time.
