Brutal

I have spent several days preparing "stuff" for donation. I came across lots and Lots and LOTS of fabric, some largish bits left over from completed projects, some entire 5-6 yard pieces I never made up (and don't even remember what they were going to be!). I have sorted by content, marked the yardage, and am bundling them up to take over to the Senior Center.

The only pieces I paused at were the 2 yards of darling juvenile print from DGS's nursery (he's 27 now) and several pieces of white eyelet for the bassinette cover I made for DGD (she's 22). I did call DD to be sure she didn't want them for any future grands, but she is pretty sure she will never have any.

Feeling pretty good about clearing so much stuff out. ;-D

That's hard, clearing out fabric is a trip down memory lane for sure. Bravo for even getting onto the right head space to do it.

I had to clear a path in order to have an old refrigerator removed. I am making room for a new freezer, so I was very motivated.

Amazing how much one accumulates in 46 years in the same house. :-}

I've almost completed doing the same thing in the sewing room in the SC house. Whew! what a job! What a nice feeling! Barbara, on an extended FL vacation
