elastic thread

I need to find elastic thread that I can use in a serger. (coverhem stitch with the elastic in the looper) The thread you buy at retail stores is not strong enough and usually too thick.


Any suggestions????

Have you actually seen this done by someone? I don't think that's going to work at all. By the time the serger looper tension disks deal with thread elastic it would be stretched way out. A better plan would be to serge -over- clear elastic.
