My DH suggested a day trip to the NYS fair on Labor Day. The 'hook' for him is the Charlie Daniele band playing at the grandstand that day, but he's never wanted to go up for the entire day before! =20
I'll definitely be heading to the Art and Home Center to see the quilts and crafts exhibit!! Can't wait.
WOOHOO!!!! Hey, we might be there on the same day. DO you know what time you are planning on being there?? With any luck, I will actually have some things on display (supposed to hear sometime this week). I wish I could be there for the concert, but DH doesn't like CD and with the recent dizzy spells I've been having, I'm not allowed to drive or be alone for extended periods of time .

Well, DH is talking about leaving in the morning, about 8 or 9, and staying for the whole day! He's usually not into this kind of thing so this is a nice surprise! We only live a 30 minute drive from Syracuse, so it won't take long to get there. I know he wants to check out the demolition durby which I think is at 7:30 PM. He's a big kid at heart so I'll be watching him go on all the rides :-) I'd like to go to the Art and Home Center first, so he can't make an excuse like "I'm too tired!" =20

Well, I *might* be there. Ran the idea past DH, and he was horrified at the thought of being there on Labor day with everybody else that has vacation. Maybe I can convince a friend of mine to go with me - we'll take the kids and have fun....Will keep you updated of our plans.
