Gripper Elastic - source?

Well....my new search is for gripper elastic. It turns out that the fabric stores have stopped carrying it (except some of the Hancock stores still have some very stiff wide stuff for waistbands). Does anyone know a source for rubberized gripper elastic....the kind you would put around legbands in lycra activewear shorts to keep them from riding up. Thanks in advance, Joy

I found this article that give some sources. I would still be curious to kow if anyone knows of any others not listed? I have gotten some from Sew Sassy...but it hardly has any grip and they said they were having difficulty locating a source.

Thanks Kathleen. I have ordered lot's of materials from OWF but never thought about them for the gripper elastic. I wish they had white too ...but that's o.k. Incidentally, Greenburg & Hammer wrote me back confiming what Sew Sassy had said..."that gripper elastic used to be produced in the U.S. but now only overseas. So they are also looking for a new supplier." Thanks again, Joy

there's different weights out there, that are suitable for different things. I get it at Quest in Florida, and I also order heavy duty from Finland.
