Hello All

Just wanted to pop in to say hi. I'm trying to learn to sew as a new hobby by making clothes for my wife. The mechanics of the hobby/craft suit my personality well - I dig blueprints and putting things together. By profession I am a home inspector and due to the economy have more than enough free time on my hands.

Anyway I'm here to learn and ask all the newbie questions.

Welcome and ask away. Remember no question is a silly one. Juno

Welcome! One place to start is with some good books. I like Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Sewing for one.

Older versions are best, but do not have information about some of the new equipment, for instance sergers. Check you local library to see what "fits" you best.
