. The material that Ihave is a white cotton print. Because it's white, it's pretty sheer (Ican make out my hand through the fabric); so it seems I'm going tohave to line it. I'm having some trouble visualizing the liningbecause of the inverted pleat. Should I just make another skirt with arayon lining material and attach it with swing tacks? Is this the bestmethod?

I know, skirts are sometimes underlined, but I bought the last 1.4 m of material (lucky me! lol), so I won't be able to do that.

Thanks muchly! :)

Why not? You wouldn't use the fashion fabric to interline with, you'd use a plain fabric designed for the purpose.

Lining as you describe and attaching with french/swing tacks would probably work. Remember NOT to invert the lining pleat! In fact, I form and sew the lining and outer fashion fabric pleats together as one.
