I have recently undertaken a day course to learn how to make a boned bodice with the canvas etc. Now I have to make 3 for bridesmaids. The pattern is Butterick 6766 and the method used in this pattern seems much simpler, but do you think this gives a good enough finish for bridesmaids? The pattern is not very clear about what to use for the underlining - any suggestions? My main concerns are that the tops don't slip down obviously!
