HV Presser foot question

I just got my new 1+ and in it was a "P" foot. Any idea what type of foot this is? I checked the HV website and no mention of a "P". I googled , nothing. I looked in ebay thinking maybe I could find the identical foot. Nope. Any one have any idea what it is for?

For my Designer1 the "P" foot is 1/4" and 1/8" marks for piecing quilt blocks.

Glad you got the machine now to play with now! I think I finally found all my 1+ bobbins. I found the last one tucked way under and behind my sewing table when I rescued a wren the cat caught and brought to me. The wren was scared but flew away quite readily when I released him/her into my back yard. The bobbin was sitting two inches from the bird. I never would have found that one otherwise. I'll get them out in the mail to you tomorrow.

If you haven't explored the omnidirectional stitching yet, check it out. You use the widest foot for it and I can't remember which card. You can put a patch onto a pair of pants faster than anything with it. Just put the pants on the free arm, start it in one corner and change direction at each corner until you are done. I realize there are far more fun uses for the 1+ but this feature made me very happy. My daughter had just entered her "it's spring and all the knees are out of my pants" point in the year. I found that feature and did a big happy dance as I merrily mended pants.

It's a great machine and I know you will have fun with it.

I gotta agree...I love the omnidirectional stitching on my 1+. It's amazing to be able to sew in different directions!
