A question on presser feet

Dec 14, 2003 4 Replies

Does anyone know where I can find instruction on using the various presser feet that comes with new sewing machines. The booklet gives very little details about what you can do. Thanks

Husqvarna do an Accessory User's Guide - you need to find something similar for your make of machine.

There is a book out called 50 Ways to Master Your Sewing Machine. It's great! I bought it because even though I have used a ruffler attachment many times, I wanted to find out exactly what those little screws and levers were for. This book spelled it out for me, as well as just about any other foot out there. I have approximately 14 different feet in my collection and the book shows how to work with all of them, except the antique bias binding foot. Those directions were sent to me via someone who posts regularly on this NG.

Nancy's Notions has a book called "Fabulous Feet & Fancy Stitches" Video and Companion Book.....I just checked, it's on sale right now,you can buy either or both.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I am checking them out today!
