I have a Brother XL4050 sewing machine and took apart but cannot work out how to

I took the end off where the light is and the threading small sliver thing is,
sorry do not know part name and can't put it back, does anyone have pics they
could send as the user manual and maintenance manual are not clear enough.
I can send pics to help show the part is someone can assist IT WOULD BE GREAT.
I DO NOT HAVE PICS TO HAND BUT CAN TAKE AND SEND. I TOOK THE SID EBIT OFF WHRE
YOU WOULD CHANGE THE LAMP AND UNSCREWED A SMAL METAL PLATE BUT THE THREADING ARM
AND CANT SEE HOW TO PUT IT BACK.
