I love this machine :-)

Hello one and all,

I have finally put the Johnson Ruffler machine through it's paces. Folks I must say I really love this machine. The capability of putting 4-6 feet of fabric into one foot of ruffles just thrills me. (You could say I live a sheltered life - NOT) Today I did an inset sleeve which was very pouffy so I decided to add an extra 12 inches to the sleeve width and ruffle the sleeve cap - If a strong wind comes along this set of sleeves could make a person airborne.

I purchased from allbrands.com and got a really good price and free shipping. The machine however was shipped from the factory. The Johnson folks also sent me 5 replacement ruffler blades for free in the package. The shipping was very fast and I think I may have to change my "call-tag" to Ruffle Lady. The machine looks just like an older Singer which I have -- waiting for me to refurbish it. Only difference is this machine has a contraption on it which makes it ruffle and ruffle and ruffle.......................... oh yeah and ruffle some more!!

Yay!!! I'm so glad you love your machine. Heaven knows you needed a machine you could just sit down and fall in love with after the serger fiasco! lol Your machine kharma must be evening out. ;)

Put a pocket on the inside of that garment with the poofy sleeves. Make it roughly brick sized. That way the wearer can stash a brick in there just in case the wind picks up.... ;)
