jacket idea

This one looks nice. Loden cloth is out, since that's wool. Linen? Maybe, I guess. I never can find any decent flannel that is tough. Too many run-ins with Joann Fabrics crap I guess.

Any ideas on fabrics to use with this? Or where to get tough flannel? Or appropriate linen? With linen, I wouldn't think it would be a winter coat.
