Jones 2000 Sewing machine

I haven't got a machine and picked one up at a jumble sale tonight. It looks ok minus it's plug and has all it's attachments. However it has no manual and a search on the Brother site was fruitless. I don't suppose anybody has a copy of the manual or can scan or photocopy for me. I'd pay the postal and costs etc. It has some fancy stitches on it so probably around 1980 when Stretch stitch came in. tia temprance

Stretch stitches are older than that... Singer was making machines with stretch stitches back in the 60's. Jones was bought out by Brother way back in 1958, but continued to produce 'Jones' machines for some time after that... Since then, however, they have dropped not only the Jones name but also all support for the Jones models.

Get on to the Wefixit crowd and see if one of them can help: it's a Yahoo group.

Thanks. Found it. What a good idea. Jones/Brother have no manuals and the machine is about 30 years old according to tech depart when I rang them.
