New bathrobe

I am so cold-blooded I have to have a blanket in the summer. I got tired of going around the house this winter wrapped up in a blanket and decided to make myself a polar fleece caftan------sounded good and warm to me.

Went to the sewing room, poked through the stash, and lo and behold!!! TWO pieces big enough!! One forest green and one burnt orange.......wonderful. Decided to make them both......then decided if a little does good, a lot will do better and made the thing with both thicknesses!!! just top stitched everything and cut fringe......green on the inside.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!! We call it the "Wooly-Bully"..........and it is WARM............also heavy.

Now if I could just stand up straight....................

Assuming that you're in Arkansas rather than using that as a name but have no connection with the state, if you feel cold in the summers there then it seems as though you really feel the cold! I'm in Sydney (Australia) and we have hot humid summers yet I see people going around in thick sweaters. They must feel the cold too - meanwhile I'm melting in shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt!

Yes, I really am in NW Arkansas.........It gets hot here too, but not for more than about 60 days......we really have wonderful weather, and I know it is just me.......but I am enjoying my new robe tremendously!!

Sounds like me when my thyroid medicine needs to be titrated upward -- it feels like the cold is radiating from my bones outward.

I used to wrap myself in Warm Window to stay warm when it was particularly bad.

You didn't make it reversible, shame on you. Green M-W-F and orange on Tu-Th and whichever on weekends. I did flannel that way; I would love to do some fleeces, but me skin won't allow me to wear any polyester next to it. Emily

Just put it on and walk backwards. Then you can **say** it's reversed.
