Old Singer Sewing Machine

I recently purchased an old Singer 27. It was retrofitted at some point for a motor, my guess is sometime in the 60's due to the broken motor which wa s on it when I purchased the thing. I've been having trouble finding somewh ere where I can get a new one which is compatible or finding someone who co uld retrofit it for a newer and easier to find motor. If anyone has any sug gestions they would be greatly appreciated or if I haven't been specific en ough feel free to ask anything.
