Not much sewing going on at my house either but I have a pair of pants that need taking in to fit better.

Yes, it's been available here for a couple of years but I couldn't tell you how it's done. I'm no help at all.

I am investigating the method for taking card payments via smart phone or tablet here in France . It's very new here just this year, I believe it's been in the Uk and USA for a while now. So I am going slightly mad with researching how much how it works etc.

Then one of the big marble polishing machine needs a repair so I am in charge of logistics to get it from us to the Uk and back again. The joy of being a 2 person artisan business!!

This morning just to take my mind off things I made myself a nightdress while I waited for a client to arrive , they failed to arrive despite making an appointment. Still I have had some sewing therapy and I'm a nightdress better off. Happy day.

I'm working on six surprise projects to give my family when we spend a week at the beach in July. Since at least a few of us will not be able to attend our cherished annual Christmas Eve dinner in December, we are going to have a Christmas-in-July dinner, with all the fixin's. ;-D

No but he will come back yet I have two rolls of his fabric . I left a message on his phone, I can only assume he has had problems.

A tiny bit of stash but yes some stash used . It's just a simple nightdress from left over cotton jersey . I laid down my existing one and winged it. I was short a bit for the length so added a white piece as a sort of bodice

Funny we are currently planning Cr-easter-day Christmas and Easter combo plus a Birthday for No1 son when he gets home from China at the end of the month. he's been there since Sept for his school year. so we have a lot of catching up to do. My DH insists that we have the tree and everything!!!

I'm getting there it's been such a learning curve I think I will write a blog page when I'm done. I guess for France I am an early adopter. Most people when I explain it react as if I am talking about science fiction!
