Pardon my silly question, I'm making a strapless tube dress in stretch fabric, fitted at the waist. Width of front pattern can be the same of the back? , in simple words, can I make only one side pattern and repeat it two times or it will fit odd ? If not, how can I take measurements for front and for the back of the body?
if its for a kid (flat chested) then the same piece will work for front and back. If its not, go on over to kate diceys site, she has an awesome measuring section that I use all the time, and she has a handy dandy measurement card that I use also. I love having all my family's measurements as a quick reference.
