Well I searched alt.sewing in google groups for as many words as I thought I could remember to no avail.
Can someone help me remember or find the sig/adage that had a general gist of:
being kind (perhaps not mean) to people in a bad mood because you don't know what stressful things may be going on in their life or they may be having a worse day than you etc...
but it was more eloquent and diminutive of course :)
