Progress report

Very cool! And green!!!

That is absolutely beautiful, Beverly, and green isn't even one of my favorite colors. Your DGD will feel like a queen wearing it. Thanks for the photos. Emily

Probably not too warm. Teen-aged girls tend to bundle up. Not like us, who throw off the covers and grab a wet, cold washcloth sometimes. One of the best-received gifts I gave one of the girls years ago when she was a teen was a bright red longjohn complete with the drop seat. She loved those and wore them for years. Until they were completely worn out.

This one is hot-blooded, she wears a very light weight robe of flannel I made several years ago. It's too small now which is why I made a new one. But I'm worried about the fabric, it's heavier than the flannel she loved.

I just put up some additional pictures, of the sweatshirt I embroidered for DGS with the new college logo and a tiny monogram.

Thanks, Kate. I was having a serious case of funk (low blood sugar) on Wednesday and didn't think it was going to get done, or if it did I wouldn't like it, but now I think it will suit DGD very well.

Yes, indeed! When you see her bundled up in it, you'll know for sure. I can just imagine her sweeping into a room......tres elegant.

Ah, but for très très elegante she would need a long black cigarette holder...
