I already received the cleaning fluid I order a couple of weeks ago. However, I was thinking about getting a good pair of 7.5" Mundial pinking shears for my DGD. I love my three pairs of 9" Mundial pinkers, they are fabulous, but they are largish for her smaller hands. Yes, Sharon there really is a Sewing Santa Claus. ;-)

I likewise have had very good service from Atlanta Thread.

The new ones are not for me, for DGD. I own at least five pairs of pinking shears, I've been using one pair for over

55 years. I cut almost all fabric out with pinking shears, saves lots of frustration with raveling while I assemble. I just add the depth of the "pink" to the seam allowance, and sew 3/4" seams (for most items).

I got that email too. It is very rare for them to have a sale. I think I will be making a list. :) I get my glass head pins from them, most reasonable price I've found. I get lots of other things too, but that was what leapt to mind immediately. ;)

I bet she would be thrilled. She does such good work for someone just starting out. Must be her teacher. ;)

I am wanting some pretty glass-headed pins for DGD to go with the dress-form pin-cushion, so maybe I'll order those along with the smaller pinking shears.

I placed my order for EverBlum a little prematurely. :-(

I can't take much credit, she has done a lot of work on her own. I love that she *wants* to learn.
