Hi everyone....I am trying to get back into sewing.......after too long away from it.... What I need to know is this...If I cut out a pattern that is for a A Line skirt......Just normal...... without placing the pattern any special way......Is that ok.........and if it is possible...... how will the skirt hang...when beng worn?/.....I have changed my mind not to do a Aline skirt.........just need something simple to start with.............

Big Thanks for any Help Angiexx

The pattern pieces have arrows on them for placement on the fabric, making this easy for layout.... so just follow those arrows when laying out the pieces on the fabric itself.

While an A line skirt is very easy to make, it is essential the pattern pieces be aligned properly on the fabric for the right 'fall.' =20

the arrows need to be parallel to the long, straight grain ( threads from weaving) of the fabric.
