sewing for dolls

Has anyone come across any patterns on the internet for Bratz dolls clothes?

Thanks Katherine

I've seen for every kind but... What I have done in the past when I redress a doll is use the existing clothing for patterns. If there is one outfit that is liked the least, you could cut it open on the seams and use that as a pattern. The clothes are so tiny the idea of pinning muslin to it and rubbing off a pattern made me shudder. ;) Also, it's pretty easy to drape clothes on a doll. (they will stand still for hours for fittings. lol) So I will do that sometimes too.

Hope you find what you need.

Thank you all.

Just doing some things for "Baby Born", but my niece took the doll home and I only have the measurements, and a top for Pooh Bear, also with just the measurements. Can only do my best.

For the Bratz, I will do more simpler? clothes that just hang off the shoulder and tie the waist with a ribbon, tied at the back in a bow or something similar.

Why do I get myself into these tasks? LOL Never promise a child something you regret, because they never forget.

Yes, but that's because you mean so much to that child! I am 44 y.o. and my beloved grandmama passed away in 1997 but I still have, among other mementos, some clothing she made for my dolls back in the 1960s and 70s.

I guess my words "something you regret" must have sounded awful - bad choice of words LOL.

My nieces mean a lot to me - really I do, and I have started on the sewing projects for their dolls. I'm sentimental about momentos too.

Just found that yesterday from my nieces that they have outgrown the Bratz dolls now.

That solves that problem :-).

But I have another niece who wants clothes for a Baby Born doll - at least these dolls have a more "meat" on them, and seem easier to sew for.
