Sorry, I guess that link only shows the current day's comic. It was the May 16 one that I was referring to. In the first frame, Elviney asks her friend Loweezy what kind of hem she (Loweezy) wants on her dress. Loweezy says to make it a calf length. The next frame shows Elviney holding one end of a big tape measure near a calf's head and the other end near the calf's tail.
Maybe it's funnier to see it than to hear about it. I liked it, anyway.
