Today my wife the quilter, bought a used Singer 251-6 long arm sewing machine. She got it at a good price too, complete with the working table it is built in to.
What she needs is a manual for operation and maintenance. Does anyone know where I could find one for her, either on-line (printable) or a source where I could buy one?

Singer has manuals free manuals for many of their vintage industrials on their web site. That exact model isn't listed, but there is one for

Thanks Irene, I will take a look. And it definitely is an industrial strength machine. She has been struggling to make 5 quilts for Christmas gifts to family members since May, all while working full-time at the jail. These quilts were finally completed last week and they are just beautiful!
