Using stash!

I bought some rayon/wool/(poly?) blend (washable!) suiting fabric at Fabric Depot a couple of years ago, enough for a suit jacket and two pair of slacks. Today, I am cutting out the jacket, to be lined in Ambiance Bemburg rayon, for my trip. I will pair the jacket with some RTW rayon blend slacks for now, and make up slacks from the stash fabric after I return.

Feeling very virtuous,

Post pictures when the outfit is complete so we can see how purty it is.

More on the black jacket for my trip: I put the one I was cutting out a few days ago aside for another day, I didn't LOVE the wiggly crepe-like fabric. So I found some fabulous black jacquard at TSWLTH,

(it's actually very black-on-black, it doesn't photograph well), bought an extra 1/2 yard (50% off coupon!), and today I laid out the pattern. Stressing way too much over trying to match the woven pattern. It's black for heaven's sake! No one but me is ever going to know the pattern matches across the horizontal line. :-} But I have plenty of fabric, so I am doing it.
