apron pattern

Pop over to my web site and look at the London Romeo and Juliet project in the Costumes section. I made the nurses wrap round pinny, based on a blouse pattern.

Despite my best googling efforts I am unable to find either a pattern or a good picture that I can copy from, of an old-fashioned wrap-around apron (for UK think Hilda Ogden)I can draft one myself, but would at least like a picture for reference. Its for a drama production set in 1950's. Thank you all, Liz

eBay. You don't have to buy there, you can just look at pictures. crafts|sewing|patterns|women or collectibles|vintage sewing|patterns.

Also, Simplicity has some 1950's aprons in their crafts tab (5961,

8720) as do McCall (4793, 3979) and Butterick (6567, 4087).
