Hello Keith,
There are only a few woodturing publications in the world. Here is the list:
- More Woodturning This is a tabloid newspaper that is printed 10 times each year.
- American Woodturner, official journal of the American Association of Woodturning. This is a magazine that is published quarterly (4 times each year)
- Woodturning Design, and new porject magazine in spite of its name. This magazine is published four times a year, I believe.
- Woodturning magazine, published in Lewes, England. This publications is probably the best of the lot, but is expensive because it comes from England.
- Creative Woodworking, official journal of the New Zealand Association of Woodturners. Published four times a year.
Why did I put More Woodturning at the top? Because I am its editor and publisher and believe it is the best even though it is in black and white and on newsprint. It is however available in color if you subscribe to the e-mail version. You will need a high speed connection such as DSL, however. I also write columns for Woodturning magazine and for Creative Woodworking.

Keith, your money would be much better spent subscribing to the British woodturning publication....."Woodturning"
