Thanks to all that responded to my earlier post which asked for ideas for competition themes. I have combined all the replies and produced a list. I post it for use by others if they wish.

?Long and thin competition?. The winner is the one with the greatest height to width ratio.

Seasonal and special holiday themed items,



Easter: eggs, hollow or colored or pierced



Spring: flowers



Autumn: fruit forms



Thanksgiving: platters, plates, cups and saucers, goblets



Christmas: ornaments like angels or snowmen, trees or the balls with icicles



Mushrooms,



Toys: tops, whistles or paddle boats, Spoons



Spurtles



Dough rollers (rolling pins)



Turned Spheres: tennis ball size or smaller. (Competition on rolling from a ramp, straightest, closest to a target mark across the floor. Variations in wood density can make a perfect sphere roll oddly.) Miniature cowboy hats.
