specialises in such machines; you could do worse than to ask his advice on a price. I've had a look at past (completed) auctions on eBay - no Elfs showed up but a couple of Majors at around £150/£170 so - considering the Elf is a smaller machine, I think something around £100 might be a rough upper bound based on these prices. I sold a similar machine (mine was an Arundel with bowl turning attachment, a little bigger than the Elf and British made, mostly cast iron construction) for something around £100 a couple of years ago.

Of course, the condition of the machine plays a part, as will any additional accessories or tools included. If it e.g. has a three phase motor (unlikely but someone may have fitted one), then its value to a typical hobbyist would be decreased, whilst chucks etc enhance the value.
