Delta 46-715

I am planning on purchasing a lathe and have thought about the Delta



46-715. The question I have is this a good "all-purpose" lathe, ie turning some bowls as well as smaller items such as tops, animal calls, candle holders all in the 1-4" range? Any pros and cons would be appreciated. Any other alternatives?

I have been well pleased with my 46-715. Have turned everything from small 3 inch flower pots to baseball bats and large bowls.

It offers good value for the money and has enough weight and power to handle everything I have turned.
