Just tried some of the new Eli Avisera tools - brilliant. They even make great shavings but the finish is superb even for me (only been turning 18 months).

John Berkeley has done a write up for the Woodturner magazine. Not sure if it has been published yet.
Would they work as well in anyone's hands other than Eli's. Having said that, I have bought a few of his tools and they certainly seem to be taking priority over the other tools and the work does seem to be improving, mind you it always does when I practice more.
