I'm an experienced general wooddorker with no turning experience. I would like to make some small columns & spindles, bun feet, the occasional pen or tool handle, etc...
Will the Jet 1014 with a bed extension suffice for this stuff?

Many prefer it to the Delta, but I got the Delta. Delta right now is running a deal to give you the bed extension
probably, but not right away... (what I used to tell folks who asked "are rates going to go up or down?)
Hopefully, you'll also get some time to just play and make shavings... a great stress reliever...
Caution: Turning is an extremely addictive activity and can be almost as expensive as owning a boat.
