The local VFD built a new metal building and I noticed that the steel work was delivered on some 4x4s, Now looking at the big steel pieces and not seing any gouges in the wood I asked the contrctor If I could haul off the lumber when they were done, no problem. So I got some rough 4x4s 10 to 12 ' long after running them thru the joiner I found some very nice oak.. So keep you eye out for those large warehouse type metal buildings going up.
