Glue: what's CA?

Ok, stupid question time... I read about "ca" in all the gluingdiscussions... guessing that it's the older, "carpenters glue" orsomething, but I don't want to dent my learning curve with amisconception..Flamers welcome, as long as one of you fine folks answers my stupidquestion.. *g*Mac
