None of the Oneway models has a swivel head.

guessing that is due to the drive system

have heard the swivel head is nice when turning hollow forms

similar but not quite the same as outboard turning

Not sure how $4000 compares to brand new price for a Oneway 2036. $5500 fo r new Oneway 2036. 27% discount. Just $300 less than the 2436. And the 2

036 is the lesser step sister old hag of the 2436 lathe. Why spend that am ount of money on a Oneway and only get 20 inch swing for a few hundred more you can get 24 inch swing. I would guess Oneway sells ten 24 models for e very 20 model. Big box contains the variable speed dial and on/off switche s and forward/reverse switch. Below is a picture of a Vicmarc lathe with a similar control box magnetically stuck to the lathe. No Oneway lathes hav e swivel head. All are fixed head lathes with outboard platforms you mount to the back side and move the tailstock and tool rest over to that side.
