Last Show for me

I havn't posted in a long while as I have been turning up a truck load of bowls to take to our last show ever... As I said before, I am retiring from fulltime woodturning in Dec and have only one show left to do in Toronto at the end of Nov.

Many of you have my videos and email me occasionally with comments and Questions, for that reason we are going to keep our web site up, indefinately.

I accually have only a couple of more days left of turning then we start packing and loading for the trip, It takes alot of Bowls to do an 11 day show in a big city, so it is a big job.... I look forward to taking it easy for a couple of years, I will still have a 100 foot Gallery display at Kings Landing in the summer time, so I have to come back to NB for atleast the summer, plus our health insurance in Government owned and they say we have to maintaine physical residence in the Proviance for atleast 6 monthes/year.... SO, I will get to do some turning then at any rate... I imagine I will be looking forward to it after 5 months of doing not much...

I am playing with EBay alot these days, with my decals and stickers, I have a lot of fun with that, but it is nothing compared to Turning a really nice piece of Spaulted Sugar Maple......\

Anyhow, Debbie, the love of my life, is off shopping and I was Bored, so I just thought I woulds Say Howdy to you all.... and thanks for keeping the news group running, I read it once or twice a week when time allows..... Cheers and Good turning..... Ken........

Best of luck at the show in Toronto. When you go by Cornwall, Ontario on the

401, you'll be about 10 miles from Hogansburg, NY. Enjoy your retirement, Ken!!

What does a woodturner do when they retire, take up accounting?

In any event Ken, enjoy your retirement and if you are ever in this neck of the woods give me a call. My wife and I would enjoy having your and Debbie in for dinner.
