Looking for Woodturners in the Ithaca MI Area

Greetings and Salutations everyone.

I would like to know if anyone is from around Ithaca MI.

The reason I ask is that I would like to find out if there is anywhere local that I can purchase Lathe chisels and other turning equiptment. (right now if I want to get quality tools I have to travel about 90 Miles one way)

Why drive when you have the ability to purchase tools via the internet? The only issue is shipping and that is usually the same cost as the sales tax you would pay if you bought it in state.

There are a number of online catalogs - a few are as follows - in no particular order...

That should get you started at online shopping for tools - it is pretty simple and can be better than driving 90 miles!

Of course, you will make proper declaration and pay the sales tax as required by Michigan law.

I have to drive 150 to Green Bay, so I can empathize. Sometimes you just have to see the thing in person.
