Multistar was reborn last year, refinanced by someone and under the direction of the original owner, John L?. Or something like that. Some new products were described in the November '03 issue of the British magazine, Woodturning. The Multistar website

Only three days ago I had my last parcel from Multistar, with parts to expand the Duplex chuck, which has served me well for 12 years. Only yesterday I had one personal email from Mr. John Lovatt. Nothing indicating collapse of any kind. I would be very sorry if they'd have to give it up. Kjell Baeverfjord snipped-for-privacy@online.no

The Multistar website came up for a couple of days last week then went off again. I have tried to send them an e-mail, but it comes back as undeliverable. I will have to try to telephone them but that means a long long distance phone call. The latest British magazine, May issue,Woodturning has more new Multistar products shown in it. Edward Canada
