new lathe!!

Just received my Christmas present...a Jet 1236.. Haven't turned since high school. What's a good book to help refresh my memory? TIA

Woodturning A Foundation Course Kieth Rowley

A class I took at a Collage used that as their text book. I think Craft Supply has it. I think they have the companion video to go with it. You might want to check the local collages to see if they have any turning classes. That would get you back in the saddle quickly. Good luck.

Check with the local American Assoc of Woodturners chapter, they most likely they will have a library of items to check out from books to videos to tools. As well as you being able to mine the vast experience of the members of the particular chapter that is close to you.
