Does the tailstock have a non-rotating barrel with keyway that is ejected by a rotating bolt, like most lathes, or is it a one-piece spindle that is essentially a bolt that rotates?
If the latter, has it worked well for you? Do the threads clog or does it rotate while turning? Some turners leave the tailstock lock loose so that the tailstock can be tightened as the spur center digs deeper. Thoughts from Nichols owners?
Thanks,
Derek
