I got the wood for the two planes from the guy that did the trim work in the houses that were built by the company I worked for.The pieces were cut from nuell posts from the stair .I was the guy that had to clean up after all the trades that worked in the houses. That was the "Best" job I ever had ! I worked in machine shops until I was 55 and jot laid off ,I worked for the builder for 10 years. I was able to talk my bosses out allot of lumber from framing,decks and lots of oak ,maple ,pine and popular trim.,I even scored a G E gas range ,dish washer and two extra micro waves. I wish I didn't retire ,but working in Ohio weather when it's zero out was getting too dam cold.Now its time to learn how to do some wood butchering.I enjoy seg. turning the best.
