Lowes has a "hobby wood" shelf where I discovered a few pieces of Spalted Poplar, 1x3. This section has varying sizes of Oak, Poplar and Pine. Thought I'd see what I could come up with.. Here are my first two results made totally from Lowes hobby wood.

Hey Bob, I like the work you do on your turning. My fav.is the hollow form. Do you make that in two halves then put the two together ? And I like the finishes on them. I guess I just don't sand enough to get a good finish on my stuff ,I 've just got into this turning stuff. Jerry
