I have had a 3520A for 4 years and still think it is a great machine. I spend 15 to 40 hrs a week creating shavings. I once heard a "professional turner" who claimed that 2 hp was too weak for a professional machine. My
3520A has been able to handle anything I have been able to put on it though it does vibrate a lot with a 75 lb out of balance piece on it. The Oneway is marginally better but IMO not worth the extra cost. I really want the new Laguna but the $9000 cost is a major factor. Oh I forgot I am a "professional turner" and added a bed extension to the 3520A to give me 10' capacity.- posted
