Turned box and bowls

Posted on ABPW

Turning really is addictive. I bought some turning stock and started playing. What you see is my first attempts at a more complicated facet of turning. I did the baubles and Christmas decorations. I decided I wanted to try a turned box. The small bowl in the back is Black Locust, the other two are Walnut, one with hand rubbed linseed oil, the other unfinished. The box has been hand rubbed also. So without further delay......here they are.

-- Giving Bill Belichick two weeks to prepare for this game is a sin," says Texans general manager Charley Casserly. "He'll come up with stuff that the Panthers have never seen. Their whole aim is to get you to figure it all out -- but only after you are on the bus heading home."

ABPW stands for "alt.binaries.pictures.woodworking". It is another news group set up for displaying pictures of woodworking projects. There is also "alt.binaries.pictures.furniture". Unfortunately, not all ISP's carry the binary news groups.
