I recently posted some questions on vacuum chucks and was glad to get all the responses.
I have decided to purchase a vacuum pump and would appreciate some answers. I have been looking on E-bay where there are lots of pumps listed for sale but I seem to only get more confused with all the options available.
What Horsepower pump is needed? I see pumps from 1/6 to 1/2 h.p.
# of Cfm's needed? See 1 to 7 cfm
one or two stage pump?
Oil or oilless?
How much vacuum is needed? I see pumps from 20 to 26
