A beautifull afghan!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for a beautiful afghan!!!!

We were out of town when it arrived and our youngest son signed for it. He knows Nora's name and did not tell us it came. He said "I knew it was something form you yarn group, so I did not tell you.

When I came home and opened it I was so touched I did not realize tears were running down my cheek until l Gail ask if I wanted a napkin. I read every name out loud. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! That is a memory I will remember for the rest of my life.

I thank I told you all I have been going to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The Monday before the arrival they called me and told me I would have to just continue the pain management, I was kind of down. The that beautiful "USMC" afghan came. Centered in the second row 4 squares long are made with no break in them with the letters "U S M C" in it.

It must have been divine intervention, You all made it at one of my most down times. I love you all so much again, you do not know how much it touched me at such a time of need for a caring friend or kind jester. Just like the one you all did for me.

I know I did not get in the last exchange, with every thing going on my memory is gone. I wish all the special days I have missed are happy ones.

WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF YOU!!!! Dennis & Gail

So glad it arrived at a time when it lifted your spirits Dennis. Each stitch was made with a little prayer for your safekeeping and health. And for Gail too, for strength and support for her Hoping you're both "keeping your chins up" Love and hugs (gently) Christine

Dennis, As the others have said, the afghan was made with the hope that it would comfort you in your time of need. But, even better, use it in good health.

You are more than welcome. I understand how receiving the afghan can help when you are down as I received mine when I needed a friend as well.

I am glad you liked it, Dennis, and you are very welcome! DO NOT forget that you have done things to brighten up our days too! I went to the library yesterday, and could proud tell the asker: No I haven't crocheted this nice tote myself; my online friend, Dennis, in US has done it!!!

Hugs to you and Gail! AUD ;-))

And I say this:

I am happy that I was able to be along. Thanks Auntie Nora...you were the one allowing this. You know what I mean.

Dennis...my part was little, but I thought "RCTY has been there for me when I have been in need. Now it is my time to return the favor - even it is just one of the RCTYers".

Sounds crazy, I know...but that is what I thought. Enjoy the blanket, Dennis. And every stitch was made with care, be sure of that. Best: Pirjo

Rusty,

I has kept me warm many nights already.

Gail just covers me when I fall asleep in the recliner. When I get some sleep she does not wake me up.
