Another Moebius

Well, I've started the next one! It is easier this time as I feel more confident about how it will turn out. Having said that, I did make a mistake when I was picking up the purl "bumps" so there was a most unpleasant "Grebbit" until I started it again (lol) - and got it right that time.

It is cream coloured (like last time) as my friend decided black would not look as nice with the lace stitch she chose. So far I'm only on the

4th row but hoping to settle to an evening of knitting later.

There are pictures to be taken of the latest completed jumper so will post them later in the week.

Both son and husband have decided they each want a Fair Isle type sweater for next winter. The designs they have chosen are at

I wonder if they'll look anyway near as good when I've finished with them Shelagh. (lol) We live in hope.

That is a lovely site for patterns but I always wish I was a six armed god/goddess after I've visited there. (see

) Just think, I couldhave 3 different things on the go at the same time. ;-)Bernadette

We visited the land of Vajrasattva in 1991. I bought a fair number of knit textiles. The were all scratchy. None have been worn for more than 15 minutes total. You are better off knitting as you do. LOL

That's not at all comfortable, Aaron.

I tend to buy synthetic yarns as wool not only makes me itch but causes a rash - I think it is the lanolin. My son suffers the same way too so we really play it safe for him. I had hoped he'd grow out of it but at nearly 40 I don't think there is much chance he will now! Hubby can wear wool but doesn't get the chance as knitting it makes my hands uncomfortable.

The last time I used wool was to crochet a thick rug and I wore those thin rubber gloves to make it. It worked too but wouldn't be any use for knitting.

The lady that owns the LYS near my house made a beautiful moebius. She used a fine cream coloured mohair yarn and worked it in a lace stitch- cat's paw I believe it was. Beautiful! Looking forward to the pics. Marie and the cats
