Anyone Familiar with Antuco?

It's a cotton yarn from EA. I'm making a baby Einstein jacket and using a lot more yardage than expected IF the yardage on the yarn wrapper is true. This project is getting more expensive by the day!

Has anyone else used this yarn and had a problem with yardage?

I don't know the specific yarn but I wonder if you washed your test swatch? I'd want to see if it "grows" after it's been washed.

The claim is for 126 yards per 100g hank at standard conditions, but the stuff is most likely put up by WEIGHT rather than yardage. Depending on humidity in the plant 100g could be more or less than 126yd.

Garter stitch eats yarn like nobody's business, so if you estimated your yardage requirement on the basis of stockinette your estimate was undoubtedly short.
