I loved the cat's paw scarf that showed up here! Thanks for bringing it to our attention! It's adorable. I knit my own version of it in heavier yarn on size 13 needles:

Wendy, Your work is great again! Dennis

That is lovely. It looks both warm and soft - and I love those subtle shades in the yarn.

Thank you Dennis and Bernadette! Yes, I love the subtleties in the yarn, too--keeps it from looking garish with the soft pale blue mohair in there (do they shave a mo for his hair?). And especially to Donna--- I used Lion Brand Moonlight Mohair, machine washable. The color's called Glacier Bay. My local Job Lot store here has been selling tons and tons of gorgeous yarns at $1-$2 a skein! So I made this scarf for $4. Yippee!

Wendy ps--I really love to share my work with everyone and am thrilled when others do it too. I love to see what everyone else is creating out there! especially since I live alone and don't get much in the way of seeing others' stuff or personal "bragging rights". LOL!

LOL. Oh my, the mind boggles. The description "kid gloves" takes on other connotations when you think about it from that angle. ;-)

And especially to

HAHAHAAAAAAAAA! THAT"S FUNNNEEEE~! :D

Wendy :D

Wow what a deal.....just got my Joann's coupons so will be shopping tomorrow after work

LOL I was surfing at work...don't tell anybody and found this pattern for the Cats Paw on a larger scale:

Your welcome I have some gorgeous Fiddlesticks Zephyr Wool-Silk in Raspberry I am going to use starting tonight, went to a LYS and asked the owner if there was any other lace weight yarn that wasn't fuzzy and thin [I can't see the loops to knit em] and she recommended the Fiddlesticks and the color was soooo pretty I had to get it also picked up size 4 and 5 24 inch Audi lace needles....tried em last nite and they are great...not toooo pointy......so I am all set to start the scarf!

Donna

Oh! I love it! So much so, it's going on my "To Do" list. Thanks for sharing!

Murielle

Thanks! I'm currently making a second one in a lighter weight and on smaller needles. :) Wendy
